The Renzo Piano designed Calfornia Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco is set to open on Spetember 27th.
The new Platinium LEED certified musuem will house the Kimball Natural History Museum, Steinhart Aquarium and the Morrison Planetarium. The new energy saving building with its 2.5 acre roof was design by Renzo Piano in collaboration with STANTEC architecture.
